Belcarra cotton top

This is a Sewaholic Belcarra cotton top . It went together very easily . I'm not sure still if I'm a big fan of cotton tees. I'm so used to knits & how  they fit my body in a more flattering way. I do like the fabric - it's -April Rhodes - Arizona . I'm trying to stretch my sewing skills as well as what I like & what looks good on me . Its a work  in progress .

As you may be able to tell it is my first trip to Dean & Deluca . - great place & yummy things

Snap bags

Snap bags are so quick & easy . I recently made 9 of them for gifts. Six of them went to my sisters scrapbooking friends . They came up to the mountains for a weekend . They stamped & scrapbooked & I sewed . Very fun !!

I love the knit of this dress , just not yet happy with the fit . I serged the underlining & knit together & it's making the side seams too bulky at the hips - where I don't need bulk . So it hangs un hemmed :(   It is Butterick 5873

I recently had fun making  more granddaughter outfits ! I'm using up my stash . It's fun to find  small pieces of fabric that can look so cute as a baby outfit .

Batik tote bags

I recently made these batik bags for the National CCS board .  Our local board members are making them as gifts for the upcoming national convention. They went together very easily . I'd like to make another for me while the pattern is still fresh in my mind :)
